Yeah, they are really big
The Alps!!

Tuesday, April 15th through Tuesday April 22nd I went on a whirlwind Eurorail trip with Katie.  After watching the Alps pass by our train window, we arrived Tuesday night in Florence, Italy and met up there with Jen, another AJY student.  The three of us left after dinner the next day to arrive in Rome that night.  Jen returned to Florence on Friday morning, but Katie and I stayed in Rome until Saturday morning, when we travelled to Milan.  We stayed there only that evening and left early the next morning for Paris.  Unfortunately, I spent Easter Sunday on trains and stuck for a five and a half hour layover in Lyon.  Katie's friend Erika met us at the station and took us to her host-home.  The next day she led us around Paris, and on Tuesday, Katie and I, both very tired, rode home to Heidelberg.
