After about a month of steady reading and writing and not having a life whatsoever, I finally got off my [increasingly padded?] behind and got on a bus.  On June 28, about half of AJY and 4 of the 5 summer school students went for a trip into the Schwarzwald (Black Forest).  We saw the Freilicht (Open-air) Museum, did a short walk through the woods, saw the ruins of a monastery and played around some waterfalls.

It's like a fifth-grade field trip!
